cancellation policies
What is your workshop cancellation policy?
We do not issue refunds on workshops. If you register for a workshop and later become unable to attend, we will gladly offer a credit if you notify us at least 48 hours before the workshop. We are unable to offer credits of any kind, or honor reschedule requests, with less than 48 hours advance notice.
What is your private party cancellation policy?
Deposits for private events are non-refundable.* Hosts cancelling their events at least a week before the scheduled event may choose to move their party to another date or have their deposit reissued as studio credit. *Adult event hosts will receive a portion of their deposit back (minus their own admission) once the party minimum has been met)
But what if I'm sick or there's an emergency? Why is your policy so strict?

Do I have to pay online? Can't I just pay when I attend?
Payment is due at the time of reservation in order to secure your seat. Advance reservations are strongly recommended so that we have enough preparation time and supplies to ensure a great class for you. Consequently, walk-ins and day-of registrations are discouraged (and only available as capacity allows).
Can I bring my child to an adult workshop?
Because we allow alcohol in our adult workshops they are designed for adults only. However, special considerations might be made for teenagers attending adult workshops with a parent (knowing there will be adult conversations happening during the class). Please contact us if you are interested in bringing your older child to class.
Can we bring refreshements to adult classes? What about alcohol?
You can absolutely bring any refreshments you like to class - including adult beverages! If you're running short on time we reccomend stopping at these fantastic local establishments on the way (or popping out during a break in your class). They are all on MLK within blocks of the studio.
